"The Story of Aidan and Esmeralda"

“I’m so sorry, Esmeralda. I’m out of options. Every other option ends with more people dead than necessary.” Aidan pleaded with a knife in his hand. “Get away from me! I won’t just stand here and let you kill me! I have to at least try to survive,” Esmeralda cried. “E believe me when I say I don’t want to kill you. Because I-I- I love you!” Aidan yelled. “Well, I don’t love you back. You lost your chance at love when you betrayed me!” Esmeralda replied.
Esmeralda and Aidan had traveled together for two weeks on two different quests that were somehow connected. And along the way they had found something that not many people believed was real, true love. The only problem was that they had both denied being in love because it complicated both of their quests.
Aidan was barely an inch away from Esmeralda, as he quietly said, “you are as beautiful as the stars, I could look at you all day and night and never get tired of what I see. Even if I say anything different, during these last two weeks I fell in love with you and I am sure you fell in love with me. I will always hope we will meet in the afterlife and fulfill our love for each other. Please forgive me.” With those last words, Aidan stabbed Esmeralda in the stomach.
Her final words were, “I always knew that I would die someday. I love you,” Esmeralda said tears running down her cheek. “Till death reunites us.” With that last statement, Aidan knelt down next to her dead body and cried. Behind Aidan another figure had appeared, one look at the figure and you would guess that he was a villain, he was evil. But he really wasn’t. He just encouraged evil from the background. That is why, the real villain of this story is Aidan Sylvester Cyprus who killed Esmeralda Lucilla Grace.
Theme statement: Life is a disappointment. Or life isn’t always a fairytale.
Figurative Language: you are as beautiful as the stars is a simile.
